British 50p coins


All our coins have The Queen's head on one side.
Portraits of kings and queens have been engraved on our coins for hundreds of years. So they had currently produced 13 different type of 50p coin from Royal Mont.I have collected 3 of it only.



1st picture: 250th anniversary of Samuel Johnson's
Dictionary of the English Langauge Entries from the Dictionary and the words FIFTY & PENCE with 50 above and the inscription JOHNSON'S DICTIONARY 1755 below

50th anniversary of NHS
An arrangement of stars with the letters EU between anniversary dates of 1973 and 1998 below the value 50 PENCE designed by John Mills

3rd picture:
50th anniversary of the first four-minute mile
